Frequently asked questions

When should I book birth photography?

I recommend booking as early as possible in your pregnancy to ensure availability, ideally in your first trimester. However, if you find yourself looking for a birth photographer later on in pregnancy, please reach out and see if I am available!

Will you be intrusive during labor?

No. My approach is very unobtrusive and documentary-style. I move quietly in the space, allowing your birth to unfold naturally without interruption.

What if I don’t want certain moments photographed?

Your comfort always comes first. We will discuss your preferences ahead of time so I know what feels right for you.

When do you arrive for a birth?

I come to your birth once active labor is established or when you feel ready for me to join you, and I remain with you through delivery and the golden hour.
